48 40' 31" North 123 24' 30" West. Owned and operated by the Dickinson famiy since 1955, this full-service marina is located to port upon entering Tsehum Harbour. A 750-foot breakwater shelters an extensive moorage basin with modern concrete floats accommodating boats from 20'-200+' in length, including a 450' section for larger vessels. Van Isle Marina is designated as a Port-of-Entry for courtesy telephone Canada Customs clearance. The fuel dock and the Customs float are near the harbour entrance. The fuel dock has gas, diesel, stove oil, 50:1 outboard mix, oils, and ice as well as accessible sewage and oil pump-out stations. The fuel dock store has many supplies, from tackle to charts, mooring lines to lifejackets. Overnight, monthly, seasonal, and annual moorage is available. Shore power includes 110/208 volts, 15, 30,50, 100, and 200 amps. Telephone and cable TV services are available. Broadband wireless, storage units, a business centre and meeting room are available. A yacht brokerage, haul outs, launching, and repair facilities are part of the marina complex. The licensed restaurant, Dockside Grill serves lunch and dinner daily. Showers, restrooms, and a laundry building are on the premises. Garbage and recycling bins are located upland in the car parking lot. Fishing and dive charters, and whale-watching trips can be arranged. Shopping, parks, golf courses, and a recreation center are all nearby. Bus, taxi, and rental cars are available for those who would like to explore downtown Sidney or the entire Saanich Peninsula. It is also possible to headquarter here to make connections with guests who fly into nearby Victoria International Airport or who wish to arrive by ferry at the Swartz Bay ­ Gulf Island - Vancouver Ferry Terminal, or at the Sidney-Anacortes Ferry Terminal.
