Islands Marine Center is the first marina on the
left
once you have entered Fisherman Bay. It is recommended that you reference
a
chart before entering the bay, and be aware that, at times, strong
currents
and winds may affect docking. This marina and repair facility is regarded
as
one of the finest in the San Juan Islands. Permanent, daily, and
temporary
moorage is available on modern floats. Water, 30 amp power, and a
pump-out
are accessible. Yacht club rendezvous can be accommodated on the front
lawn
with barbecue pit and tents upon request. Two rental apartments, with
kitchens, bath, and beautiful views are available at modest rates. The
marine store and service shop are across the street from moorage.
Bathrooms
with coin-operated showers, limited garbage deposit, and recycling
available. A fuel dock is located next door. The fully-stocked marine
chandlery contains hardware, paint and supplies, fishing tackle, bait,
ice,
clothing, charts, gifts, electronics, and a complete NAPA auto parts
store.
Authorized boat dealers for Ocean Sport Boats, Pursuit, Avon, Harbercraft, Duroboat,
and
authorized sales and service for Yamaha, OMC, Volvo Penta, and
MerCruiser.
Factory-trained technicians handle major to minor repairs, rigging,
electronic installations, bottom painting and detailing. Haul-outs to 15
tons and a 13' beam, may depend on tides. Dry storage available for short
or
long term. Lopez Village is a short walk and offers many shops, grocery
store, and liquor store. The village hosts a Farmer's Market on
Saturdays.
Other restaurants, bike, and kayak rentals nearby. The Washington State
ferry dock is 4.5 miles from the marina. Kenmore Air float planes stop
next
door.
